On November 21st the GHES 4th graders traveled to Morris where they learned about the importance of soil and how to keep our environment healthy from Gary Amundson at the North Central Conservation Laboratory! “We also learned how various machines and tools are used to conduct experiments, how cover crops can help to create healthier soil and prevent erosion, that conservation of soil and water is important, and about how bees and other insects affect our environment,” fourth-grade teacher Kaley Poegel said.
