Undefeated Minnewaska thumps Monte

The Minnewaska football team escaped rainy Pope County and headed for Montevideo on Friday night. Playing conditions were good, the skies were mostly clear, and the Lakers were looking to remain unbeaten, taking on the winless Thunder Hawks.

Banged-up Lakers struggle

The Minnewaska soccer team, playing with a makeshift line-up, dropped an away match with the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders 3-0 last Tuesday. The Lakers, playing without three starters, played a valiant match against the high-powered Crusaders. St. Cloud Cathedral is a perennial power in Section 8A.
