SUMMONS

THE STATE OF MINNESOTA TO THE ABOVE-NAMED DEFENDANTS:

You are hereby summoned and required to serve upon Plaintiffs attorney

an Answer to the Complaint which is on file in the office of the Pope County District Court Administrator within twenty (20) days after the service of this Summons upon you, exclusive of the day of service. If you fail to do so, Judgment by default will be taken against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.

This action involves, affects or brings in question real property situated in the County of Pope, State of Minnesota, described as follows:

Lots 2 and 3, Block 44, Townsite of Starbuck, according to the Plat thereof on file and of record in the Office of the Pope County Recorder;

Together with a strip of land described as follows:

Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 2 of said Block 44 of the Townsite of Starbuck;

thence West along the North lines of Lots 2 and 3 of said Block 44 of the Townsite of Starbuck to the Northwest corner of said Lot 3;

thence North along an extension of the West line of said Lot 3 a distance of 17 1/2 feet; 

thence East parallel to the North line of said Block 44 to a point 17 1/2 feet North of the Northeast corner of said Lot 2;

thence South to the northeast corner of said Lot 2 and there terminating.

Said strip of land being that portion of Broadway Street vacated by resolution of the Village Council of Starbuck, Minnesota recorded in Book J of Miscellaneous Records, Page 415 in the Office of the Pope County Recorder which abuts Lots 2 and 3, Block 44, Townsite of Starbuck.

The object of this action is to determine the adverse claims of said Defendants and each of them, in or to the hereinbefore described real estate, and to obtain judgment that the Plaintiffs are the absolute owners as joint tenants and in possession of said real estate, and that none of said Defendants have any right, title, estate, lien, or interest whatsoever in or to said real estate, or any part thereof.
