PUBLIC NOTICE

This is to notify the public that the Pope County Planning Advisory Commission will be meeting on Thursday, December 19th, 2019 beginning at or about 6:00 pm or shortly thereafter in the County Courthouse Community Room, 130 East Minnesota Ave, Glenwood MN 56334 to hold public hearing(s) and consider the following items:

• Review meeting minutes from November 21st, 2019 PAC meeting.

• Conditional Use hearing on the application by Marvin Sandvig, if granted would permit applicant to operate a motor vehicle salvage facility in an Agriculture Protection (A-2) zoning district per section 10.14 of the Pope County Land Use Controls Ordinance. Parcel is described as being located in: Part of the Southeast Quarter (SE ¼) of the Northwest Quarter (NW ¼), Section 32, Township 123 (Lake Johanna), Range 36, Pope County, Minnesota.

• Conditional Use hearing on the application by Marta Jensen with Lantana Solar, LLC on behalf of Thelma Searcy and, Jason and Traci Tauber, if granted would permit applicant to locate a 1-megawatt (MW) solar garden in a Non-Intensive Agriculture (A-1) zoning district per section 6.3.M. of the Pope County Land Use Controls Ordinance. Parcel is described as being located in: Part of the Southeast Quarter (SE ¼) of the Southwest Quarter (SW ¼), Section 8, Township 125 (Glenwood), Range 37, Pope County, Minnesota.

• Conditional Use hearing on the application by Marta Jensen with Camellia Solar, LLC on behalf of Robert Irgens, if granted would permit applicant to locate a 1-megawatt (MW) solar garden in a Non-Intensive Agriculture (A-1) zoning district per section 6.3.M. of the Pope County Land Use Controls Ordinance. Parcel is described as being located in: Part of the Northwest Quarter (NW ¼) of the Northeast Quarter (NE ¼), Section 17, Township 125 (Glenwood), Range 37, Pope County, Minnesota.
