NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

In the Matter of the Redetermination of Benefits of

Stearns County Ditch No. 29, Stearns County Ditch No. 36 and Stearns County Ditch No. 37

Whereas, The North Fork Crow River Watershed District, acting as the Drainage Authority for Stearns County Ditch No. 29, Stearns County Ditch No. 36 and Stearns County Ditch No. 37 has determined that the benefits of record do not reflect current market values and have appointed viewers to redetermine the benefits and damages for the existing County Ditch No. 29, County Ditch 36 and County Ditch 37; and whereas, the Viewers Report for the Redetermination of Benefits has been filed with the Watershed District Secretary;

NOW, THEREFORE, Notice is hereby given that the Drainage Authority will hear public comment on the acceptance of the Redetermination of Benefits in the North Fork Crow River Watershed District Office, 1030 Front Street, Brooten, Minnesota on February 19, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.

County Ditch 29 properties affected are located in sections 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 17 and 18 of Crow River Township, Stearns County; sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 33 of Crow Lake Township, Stearns County; section 36 of North Fork Township, Stearns County; sections 1, 2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 24 of Lake Johanna Township, Pope County; sections 34 and 35 of Bangor Township, Pope County.

County Ditch 36 properties affected are located in sections 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 32 and 33 of North Fork Township, Stearns County; sections 23, 24, 25 and 26 of Bangor Township, Pope County.

County Ditch 37 properties affected are located in section 30 of Lake George Township, Stearns County; sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Crow Lake Township, Stearns County; sections 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 and 36 of North Fork Township, Stearns County; sections 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 32, 33, 34, 35 and 36 of Bangor Township, Pope County; sections 1, 3 and 4 of Lake Johanna, Pope County.

All persons interested in the redetermination of benefits on the above systems wanting to be heard should appear at this time. If accepted, the redetermined benefits will replace the current benefits and be used for assessment of future maintenance.
