NOTICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT WORKSHEET (EAW)

PROJECT TITLE: Fremad Building Redevelopment

The Fremad building was constructed in 1893 and took its present form after initial renovations in 1919 and again, after 1949. Pope County became the owner of the Fremad Building through tax forfeiture in 2014. Due to the unsafe condition of the building and infeasibility of rehabilitation, Pope County HRA is planning for the deconstruction of the Fremad building in Glenwood, Minnesota.

E 38 ft of Lot 9 and Lot 10, Block 23 of Glenwood City Original Plat and E 8 ft of N 25 ½ ft of Lot 9, N 25 ½ ft of Lot 10, Block 23 Section 12, Township 125, Range 38. Parcels: 21-0198-000, 21-197-000 and 21-0197-001.
