Are you tired of getting phone calls from “unknown numbers” or towns you may not have heard of?  You’re invited to attend a public meeting on April 21 at 7 p.m. at the Starbuck Community Center on how to prevent scams and frauds.

In today’s world, technology plays a big part in everything we do from finance to healthcare.  Unfortunately, the technology that helps us stay in contact with friends and family also puts us at risk from scammers and fraud.  Come to the meeting and learn tips on how you can avoid becoming a victim.

This event is sponsored by the Starbuck Police Department and the GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs) Starbuck. Refreshments will be served by GFWC Starbuck.
