Glenwood Firefighters were able to save a house structure last Thursday after a fire broke out inside the home’s attached garage.  Glenwood Fire Department responded to a call of a house fire at 10:02 a.m. Thursday and half of the garage was on fire when they arrived.  Above, a firefighter uses water to suppress flames in the area of the garage that was used as a shop.  The house, located at 19467 South Lakeshore Drive, is owned by Darrell and Martha Kollman. No one was injured, according to Glenwood Fire Chief Bruce Cerney.  Villard Fire Department also responded to the fire and Cerney said he called in Starbuck Fire Department in case they were needed.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation, according to Cerney.  Firefighters were on the scene about two hours, he said.
