Greg and Nancy Rapp are the 2022 Heritage Days Grand Marshals. The two have poured their hearts and souls into the community in the more than 25 years they have been residents. They’ve been married for over 30 years and have always strived to make Starbuck a welcoming community. They have two children, daughter, Celeste and son, Corbin, and his wife, Nicki, as well as two grandchildren, Ayla and Beckett, who lovingly refer to them as Papa and Grandma.

Greg works as a certified physician assistant at the Starbuck Clinic, putting the well-being of the community first with an apt sense of humor. He was an integral part of the COVID response and helped many people through the pandemic and their own personal struggles. His helpful attitude has been a great contribution to Starbuck.

Nancy is the voice of reason to Greg and much more. Her passion for Starbuck is visible through her work with the Starbuck Chamber and her help in founding Glacial Hills Elementary School. She has helped mold the town into what it is today. Nancy helps coordinate the Miss Minnewaska program and ensures that prospective royalty gets to their destinations during the weekend.

The Rapp’s can always be seen at Heritage Days festivities, and they’ve paddled on teams for the annual Dragon Boat races every year since the start of the event.
