This week at Minnewaska Elementary in Leigha Janssen’s 2nd Grade classroom, students have been working on creating solutions to various problems using LEGOs. The students were put into groups to create such things as a bridge, a fan, a scarecrow and a swing. “They enjoyed being able to create and come up with new and creative ideas for potential real-life problems. I think we have some future engineers at MAES!” said Janssen.
