Students and staff of Minnewaska Area High School were out in force last Wednesday for the annual Day of Caring, hosted by MAS.  Students could be seen at parks, public spaces, beaches and even on private property as they helped area residents and communities get ready for spring. Above, a group stopped for a photo as they worked in Glenwood City Park. In the back row from left are: Kolton Chan, Lane Curry, Mason Danielson, Lucas Curry, Caden Manderschied, Mr. (Justin) Song, Ms. (Lisa) Randt and Oliver van der Hagen. In the front row from left are: Kendall Danielson, Taylor Danter, Faith Kettering, Paige Lannes, Ashley Murken, Hannah Walsh and Jackson Ziesmer.

At right, students applied mulch for a node in City Park. Below, students worked at Starbuck Beach, Starbuck Park  and at Holly Skogen Park in Starbuck. Students were also working with the Buckthorn Brigade in Barsness Park.
