SNOW REMOVAL PROCEDURES

The Minnewaska Township Board approved the following snow removal procedures: Until gravel roads are frozen, the 1st snow falls will be left to build up and create a snow pack to prevent plowing off of gravel unless an extreme amount of snowfall. Once snowpack is created, roads with 2” or more will be plowed in a timely manner. Also: MN Statute 160.27 prohibits plowing, blowing, shoveling snow from sidewalks, driveways and parking lots/spaces into/onto ditches, roadsides and boulevards.
