Regular Board Meeting

THURsday, NOVEMBER 30, 2023

The Pope County Truth-in-Taxation Meeting duly noticed for November 30, 2023 in the Third Floor Board Room at the County Courthouse, 130 Minnesota Ave. E. in Glenwood, was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Board Chair Gordy Wagner with the following members also present: Paul Gerde, Paul Gremmels, Larry Lindor, and Paul Wildman. Kersten Kappmeyer, County Administrator, was present, as was County Auditor-Treasurer Stephanie Rust. Members of the public were also present at the hearing.

Kersten Kappmeyer, County Administrator, presented information on the 2023 year to date budget and fund balances, proposed preliminary levy proposed for 2024, and recommendations for the Board to consider from the Administrator’s Office for potential modification of the final levy and budget for 2024 based on updated numbers since the preliminary budget and levy was adopted in September.

Chair Wagner solicited public comments and questions from those in attendance.  After comments were made and questions were posed by two members of the public in attendance, no other comments were offered after final solicitation by the Chair.

Chair Lindor adjourned the hearing at 6:54 p.m.
