NOTICE OF AMENDMENTS TO THE POPE COUNTY LAND USE CONTROLS ORDINANCE

Notice is hereby given that on the 19th day of April, the Pope County Board of Commissioners adopted amendments to the following section of the Pope County Land Use Controls Ordinance:

2.2 Definitions

Providing definitions for Accessory On-Farm Enterprise, accessory structure, accessory use, agent, agricultural accessory structure, agricultural land, agricultural purposes, agricultural products, change of use, construction, convenience store, development, disabled, expansion/enlargement/intensification, habitable space, kennel, animal boarding, land use permit, manufacturing/processing-heavy, manufacturing/processing-intensive, manufacturing/processing-light, negative declaration, office, Responsible Governmental Unit (RGU), replacement/reconstruction/restoration, residential accessory use or structure, special event, temporary structure, vehicle services and vehicle storage.

These amendments are implemented hereafter.  

Copies of these amendments and the Land Use Controls Ordinance are on file in the Land and Resource Management Department, County Auditor Department, and on the County website https://www.co.pope.mn.us/departments/LandResourcesManagement/ordinances.
