Glenwood State Bank recently donated $50,000 to the Barsness Park Splash Pad project.  The donation, along with other community donations, will make the splash pad a reality in the Glenwood park.  A volunteer committee of three began raising money for the splash pad in 2019.  Their fundraising efforts were stalled by the pandemic, but over the past year the committee raised enough, about $230,000, to make the splash pad a reality.  Installation is set to take place this summer.  Above, from left are: Splash Pad committee member Melissa Walerius and Maylene Walerius, Kirsten Nelson, Kari Nelson, Dr. Eric Nelson, Amie Stark, Dennis Martinson, Anna Martinson, Paul Martinson, Breck Martinson (holding the check), Ashley Boutain (holding Quinn) and Peter Nelson, president of the Glenwood State Bank.
