Notice of Special Meeting and Public Hearing Pope County Board of Commissioners

The Pope County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 directly following its Committee of the Whole meeting. The Committee of the Whole meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the special meeting will immediately follow, at approximately 9:30 a.m. or as soon thereafter as can be heard. The special meeting will be held in the Board of Commissioners Room located on the 3rd floor of the Pope County Courthouse, 130 E. Minnesota Avenue, Glenwood, MN 56334.

The purpose of the special meeting is as follows: The Pope County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing in accordance with Minnesota Statute § 160.22 to discuss potential vegetation impacts associated with the County State Aid Highway 17 reconstruction project located approximately 1.8 miles northeast of CSAH 18 and continuing northeasterly to the intersection with Pezhekee Road.
