Happenings at Central Square

Central Square is throwing three parties this summer! Join the festivities during their June, July and August Makers’ Markets. The summer markets will feature a live outdoor mini music series showcasing singer-songwriters who will combine instruction, music and storytelling into their shows. There will be concessions and handcrafted art and goods for sale. See ad below for more details.

Mick Sterling will take the stage in compliment with this year’s other Waterama events. Mick will perform music from the Billy Joel songbook on Saturday, July 30, at 7 p.m. For additional details about the 2022 Concert Series line-up and your ticket options, visit Central Square’s website, centralsquare.org. You can also follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

Thank You

Central Square thanks all who attended the sensational and mesmerizing performance with Maud Hixson and Rick Carlson last weekend. They would also like to thank art patrons who visited with artists, Faythe Mills and Cheryl Larson, for their Gallery reception. It was so meaningful to see local support for these amazing artists. Central Square’s generous sponsors, Rolling Forks Vineyards and American Solutions for Business, helped make this evening of community arts programming possible.

Art in the Square Gallery

The Central Square Gallery is currently hosting a duo exhibition of paintings and objects by artists Cheryl Larson and Faythe Mills. The Central Square Art Gallery is open to the public and free of charge. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you are interested in purchasing their work, visit the Central Square office or call 320-634-0400.

Coming Soon

Date change! Central Square’s May Makers’ Market will now happen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 21, not on May 28. Join our community in supporting the work of our local artists and makers! There will also be a $5 make & take Father’s Day craft available for children! This is an indoor event located in the Central Square gymnasium.
