Food for Thought
Central Square has hosted three of their eight 2022 Concert Series performances so far this year. If you have missed any of them, you’ve missed something special. Ring of Kerry performed with Irish dancers giving the audience a multi-faceted experience. C. Willi Myles, a stand-up comedian, had the audience belly laughing for more than two hours. Mr. Myles had a delightful exchange with Erma and Richard Sivertson about the longevity of marriage! Maud Hixson, a much-lauded jazz singer, filled the auditorium with a voice so beautiful the audience left the show making comments about how lucky we were to have a singer of that caliber come to Glenwood. We ARE lucky to have this art resource in our city. These events and performers deserve a bigger audience, and the community deserves to have these events. Mark the remaining performance dates on your calendars to be sure you don’t miss the remaining shows! Be a part of the Pope County art scene. Support the arts. Enjoy the music!
