The Starbuck Jr. Legion team defeated Eden Valley-Wakins in dramatic frashion with a 7-6 walk-off victory in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Starbuck trailed EV-W 6-1 going into the bottom of the sevent and scored six runs to take the victory.  And, it all started with two outs.  

Thomas Poegel grounded out to shortstop to start the seventh.  Then, Jackson Holmes started things when he singled on grounder to second.  Jack Majerus then grounded into a fielders choice with Holmes out at second.  

With two outs, EV-W brought in a new pitcher  who walked Austin Ballhagen sending Majerus to second.  Levi Johnson walked to load the bases and Dylan Alexander singled to left to score Majerus, making it a 6-2 ball game.

Gavin Cain walked bringing another Starbuck run across and the score was 6-3.  Austin Weber hit a hard ground ball and reached on an error by the second basemen while Levi Johnson and Alexander scored making it a 6-5 game. Gavin Cain moved to third on the play.  

Weber stole second and with runners on second and third, Caden Larson got the clutch hit singling to left, scoring both Cain and Weber for the walk-off victory.  

The win improves the Starbuck Jr. Legion team to 12-3 on the season.  

Alexander went 3-4 at the plate to lead Starbuck in hits.  Larson also had 2 hits.
