Two long-time Pope County employees were honored by the Pope County Board of Commissioners last week and thanked for their service as they move into retirement.  Barry Bouwman, County Ag Inspector and Feedlot Officer with the Land and Resource Management Office, retired after nearly two decades with the county and Gary Wold, Deputy Sheriff and Transport Officer with the Pope County Sheriff’s Office, has retired after 22 years of service with the department. The county commissioners unanimously passed resolutions 2022236 and 2022237 to acknowledge the men and their years of service.
