Clara City man injured in motorcycle collision

A Clara City man was injured when a box truck collided with his motorcycle at the intersection of County Road 18 and State Highway 104 last Sunday, Aug. 21.
A 2004 Isuzu box truck driven by Austin Ray Littell, 18, Alexandria was traveling eastbound on County Road 18 when it collided with a 2012 Victory motorcyclist driven by Nathan John Graves, 45, of Clara City who was northbound on Highway 104.
Graves was transported to St. Cloud Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet and Littell and his two juvenile passengers were wearing their seatbelts and were not injured in the collision, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The juveniles were not named in the report.
The State Patrol report stated that alcohol was not involved, and road conditions were “dry.”
The Pope County Sheriff’s Office and Glenwood Fire Department also responded to the crash reported at 1:15 p.m. Sunday in Glenwood Township.
