From the Glenwood Herald, Thursday, Aug. 31, 1922.

During the past several months, the Minnesota Co-operative Creameries Association Inc., has been shipping the Morris, Cyrus, Starbuck, Glenwood, Villard and Westport creameries’ butter in carload lots weekly to New York. Thru this plan of pooling the butter shipments, a freight savings is made of half a cent per pound. This saving in freight cost will amount to about $5,000 per year at these creameries, which will go to the patrons of the creameries as they are mainly operated on the co-operative plan.
