Senior College of West Central Minnesota offers a lecture series each fall and spring and a short course in winter. Designed for adults 50+, adults of all ages are welcome. Senior College aims to “bring the liberal arts to life” offering informative and challenging college level learning that is simulating and social without the pressures of tests, grades or degrees.

College-level scholars from around Minnesota will provide provocative lectures on a variety of topics – from history and political science to economics, geography and biology (see this season’s line-up below). 

The Fall 2022 Season begins Tuesday, Sept. 13 and continues Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-4:45 p.m., through Oct. 27. All lectures are currently planned to be held live via Zoom. In the event in person sessions are possible, a hybrid of on-campus and live stream will be offered.

Admission for the lecture series is by season membership only. A single registration fee of $125 covers the entire lecture series. Registration is required.
