Voting has been going on by mail, but county voters can vote in person at the state and county partisan and nonpartisan primary on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at city and township polling places.  In the partisan race voters will decide on a number of statewide races.

There is only one local race (nonpartisan) that needs to be decided and that’s the District 5 three-way race for Pope County Commissioner. 

Voters will choose from three candidates: incumbent Cody Rogahn and challengers Bruce Harvey and Paul Wildman. The top two will move on to the general election.  A list of polling places in Pope County can be found below.
