Christmas Care, a program of the Starbuck VFW, Auxiliary and the Starbuck Fire Department Auxiliary, serves families in need in Western Pope County (Starbuck, Lowry, Cyrus). We depend on members of the community to submit the names of families to us. If you know of any families or individuals who could benefit from this program, please call Carol Engh 320-239-2600, Jen Haugen 320-815-7245 or Karen Tharaldson 320-239-4422 by Dec. 3 to register them. Financial donations can be mailed to the Starbuck Fire Department Auxiliary, Box 621, Starbuck, MN 56381 c/o Christmas Care or given to one of the persons listed above. Donations of gifts can be dropped off at the Starbuck VFW from 3-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The event will be held on Dec. 17.
