Officers from the Pope County Sheriff’s Office, Glenwood and Starbuck Police Departments and the Pope County Sheriff’s Posse, with transportation from Palmer bus, took twelve lucky kids (5 families) shopping for the annual “Cops and Kids “shopping day. The kids were bustling through the isles thoughtfully picking out gifts for their family members. Memories and friendships between the officers and kids will last a lifetime. After shopping at Walmart, Officers and the kids enjoyed an amazing lunch buffet provided by Pizza Ranch of Glenwood.
