From the Glenwood Herald, Thursday, Dec. 21, 1922.

There were thirty-one miles of graveling done on the roads of Pope County this last summer and eleven miles of grading, according to county engineer Shepherd. The road construction work for this year is completed. The road between Cyrus and Kensington is practically completed and is a very good road.

The Soo Railway Company is removing one of the old landmarks in the Village of Lowry. They are taking down their windmill and water tank which was put up 36 years ago. We understand they are going to ship the same to some point in South Dakota.
