Happenings at Central Square

Celebrate the holiday season this Sunday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m., when Central Square presents their holiday concert “A Kickin’ Country Christmas” with the sensational country band, Mason Dixon Line. 

There are still a limited number of tickets available for this show, but they are selling fast! Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the event. A reminder that children 12 and under are admitted for free with the presence of an adult ticketholder. There are also have special ticket prices for students and educators. Call for details. Local business and supporter of the arts, Tom’s Food Market, is a proud sponsor of this 2022 concert series performance! Concertgoers will enjoy apple cider and pastries from Tom’s Food Market as long as supplies last, so arrive early!

Art in the Square Gallery

If you are looking for the perfect gift, join Art in the Square’s featured gallery artist and Glenwood native, Marie Merten, for her closing gallery reception. You can meet the artist and purchase her lovely work.

Marie’s reception will be before Mason Dixon Line hits the stage on Dec. 11 from 1:30-3 p.m. This is a free event open to the public. 

You can also stop by the gallery during the week.  Merten’s work will be on display now through Dec. 31 during gallery hours, Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Holiday Food Drive

Central Square is holding a second food drive this season! In collaboration with the Lakes Area Welcome Center and City of Glenwood, Central Square is accepting donations of non-perishable food items now through Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Open Mic Night Hiatus

Central Square’s Open Mic Night will take a two-month hiatus over the holiday season and will continue Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023.

Coming Soon 

Finish your holiday shopping at Central Square’s Makers’ Market & Just for Kix Mini Holiday Dance Show on Saturday, Dec. 17. This event will be held at Central Square from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. with the free mini dance show at 1pm. There will be popcorn, candy, soda and water available at the concession booth! Just for Kix will also have bake sale treats available!

2023 Season Tickets on Sale Now!

Season tickets include admission to our 6-show concert series lineup, a bonus show featuring Paul Greene and Renae Brown, as well as the opportunity to attend our Summer Music on the Lawn mini music series, which is free to the public! Reserved seating for season ticket holders available upon request.
