Special Recognitions & Honors:
The Minnewaska School Board is honored to recognize:
• Amber Evenson, Palmer Bus Office Coordinator. Since starting this year, Amber has made an immediate, positive impact on the Palmer Bus site in Glenwood. She has a positive attitude every day, is well-organized, and works well with the drivers and school district staff.
• Tammie Williams -Quiggle is an outstanding teacher, leader, and colleague. Tammy goes above and beyond to ensure that MAS students are getting the services they deserve and that education is equitable for all. She picks up extra duties without being asked and always thinks of others without needing any accolades. She is a rock for many in the Special Education Department and throughout the school. Tammy is a master of her craft and MAS is lucky to have her.
• Dave Moe for stepping into a difficult situation as a long-term substitute. He has done an amazing job during this transition, and we cannot thank him enough for what he has done for our students this fall.
• Audrey Frey for her great work with our Before and After-School Programs. She does an outstanding job on what is extremely important for students and parents in our district!! Additionally, she is currently taking on the new responsibility of organizing our new Eleyo registration system, which is being implemented for the Before and After School Programs.
