Three juniors from Minnewaska Area High School have been chosen to participate in the Minnesota House of Representatives Page Program, it was announced recently by the MAHS Social Studies Department. The MAHS juniors chosen (from left) are: Xi Li, Grace Zenk & Soffia Stadtherr. The Page Program engages the students in the legislative process, state government, public policy, public service, politics and much more. The Minnesota Page Program is in its 45th year and is open to all in their high school junior year, whether they attend public or private schools, or are homeschooled. The students  will be in St. Paul for one week working with legislators. Students selected had to apply and submit an essay accompanied by a teacher’s reference to be considered for the position.
