Winterama 2023 is in the books and will go down as one of the best! The chili was fantastic, the kids had tons to do and the polar plunge did not disappoint. American Diversity took first place honors in the people’s choice category of the chili cookoff and they won best booth. Glenwood State Bank was second in the category. Lakes Catering took first in the judge’s choice category with Tangen Town coming in second. For the kids and families, there was arts and crafts projects, face painting, hockey, kick sleds and many other activities. Several brave souls took the polar plunge and the reactions did not disappoint. A shoutout to the Glenwood Fire Department for being on site for safety precautions. The evening activities included a meat raffle, the bobber and premier ticket raffles, and ended with fireworks over the lake.
