On Jan. 28, Glenwood Just For Kix dancers held their Winter Show. Over 70 dancers ranging in age from 3-18 participated in this show with a total of 15 performances. Melena Longtin, 15, made a solo performance. This year, area Just for Kix dancers are participating in several competitions. They will be in Sauk Rapids on Feb. 26, Brainerd on March 5, St. Cloud on March 12 and Wahpeton on March 26. Locally the dancers will be performing a Hip Hop dance show that includes other Just for Kix groups on March 31 at 6 p.m. at Central Square. Their Spring Show will be held on April 22 at 1 p.m. Dancers who hit a milestone year (5, 10 or 15 years in dance) were also recognized. They were: 5 years: Peyton Andersen, Kaylee Anderson, Aria Davids, Isabelle Davis, Elaine Manderscheid and Avery Wildman; 10 years: Averi Anderson and Melena Longtin.  Glenwood Just For Kix is directed by Nikki Wait and assisted by Gretchen Erickson, Samantha Gerdes, Melena Longtin and Soffia Stadtherr.
