MAES students recognized for their reading accomplishments

Minnewaska Area Elementary students were recently recognized for their reading accomplishments. The following students earned their Accelerated Reader medal. In 1st Grade: McKinzlee, Aria, Connor, Max, Avram, Dillon, Silas, Solveig, Mel, Kendall, Aubree, Reid, Killian, Nora, and Toby. In 2nd Grade: Callie, Spencer, JaeLynn, Jeffrey, Gus, Stella, and Thatcher. In 3rd Grade: Nora, Nathan, Kelci, Jack, Brooklyn, Alaina, Braigh, Brinley, Lincoln, Lucas, Annika, Cash, Lily, Nolan, Kasen, Rylan, Carson and Hadley. Accelerated Reader is a program that promotes reading and supports students in their comprehension.
Minnewaska Elementary would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Alisha and Justin Zavadil (American Solutions for Business and American Diversity) and Pat and Dan Douvier (Screen Prints Plus) for their generous support of our readers at Minnewaska Elementary School. “Because of them, we have been able to recognize and reward students who have gone above and beyond in their reading efforts this school year,” it was stated.
