From the Glenwood Herald, Thursday, May 17, 1923.

Let’s make Glenwood clean and keep it so. Not in so many years have the people of Glenwood seemed so unanimously in favor of cleaning up the unsightly spots of the city as they are this year. Much of the work has been done but there is still considerable work to do. And after we get all the work done then we have the duty of keeping it that way. Considerable back yard gardening has been done, but there is still more to do.

From the Starbuck Times, Friday, May 18, 1923.

It is rumored that the Legion boys are considering a proposition to take over the Du Glada theater and operate it. If the boys take it over, they will probably run a high class of pictures devoted to the educational features and community development.
