When the first group of golfers for the 2023 teed off in April  to open this year’s golf season it marked 100 years since the Minnewaska Golf Club opened in 1923.  This weekend, a host of activities are scheduled to celebrate the anniversary.  All are invited to participate.

This season also marked the re-opening of the totally remodeled interior of the Minnewaska Golf Clubhouse. Work included raising the ceiling, new windows, expanding the bar area, new lighting, new flooring and more.

Minnewaska Golf Club will celebrate its 100th anniversary with special events at the course on Thursday and Friday, June 15-16.  The schedule of events, which are open to the public, follows:

Friday June 16

4:00 – 8:00 p.m. -Food Truck

5:00 – 7:00 p.m. – Shoot Out Qualifier on Chipping Green and 6-Hole Putting Contest on Large Putting Green

6:00 – 9:00 p.m. – Live Music Jackson Burns

Saturday June 17th

noon – 8:00 p.m. – Food Truck

noon – 5:00 p.m. – Putting Contest

5:00 p.m. Brief Ceremony, Raffle Drawing and Honorary Tee Shot

5:30 – 6:15 p.m. – Shoot Out Finals on #9 Green

6:30 – 9:00 p.m. – Live Music/Entertainment Tim Eggebraaten
