Divers worked earlier this week hand pulling starry stonewort from the Starbuck Marina on Lake Minnewaska.  The City of Starbuck, with help from the Minnewaska Lake Association, fund the hand pulling rather than chemicals to keep the invasive plant in check.  Pictured at the top, a diver surfaces with a bag of vegetation from the lake bed.  The starry stonewort is placed in a truck bed and removed from the area.
