The Glenwood-Lowry baseball team is off to a 3-3 start this summer.  The team, coached by Joe Alexander, opened up the season with an 8-7 home loss to Morris, June 8.  The team then went 2-2 at a tournament at Alexandria, June 16-18, beating Tracy (18-7) and Becker (8-1), but also losing to Champlin Park (11-2) and Chanhassen (7-6).

During this past week’s action, the team routed Sauk Centre last Monday, 10-0 and also played at Wheaton, Thursday, before taking part in a tournament at Montevideo, June 24-25.  

Games on tap for this week include a home doubleheader with Ashby set to begin at 5 p.m., Monday, June 26 and a doubleheader at Parkers Prairie at 5 p.m., Thursday, June 29.  Also coming up is a home doubleheader against Benson-Hancock, set to begin at 5 p.m., Thursday, July 6.
