The 10th Annual Minnewaska Classics Car Show wheels into Starbuck on Saturday, Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. at the Starbuck City Park. The car show typically attracts nearly 100 cars, said Jef Fredine, one of the car show organizers.
The event features vehicles from several decades along with music from The Blues Brothers Revue throughout the park. There will be several food vendors in the park as well.
Awards are handed out to several of the participants at the show, including a Best in Show award and Top Choice awards. Last year’s Best in Show winner was Mike Momb with a 1950 Chevrolet Pickup.
“The best benefits are for the spectators. There is no admission charge and our generous sponsors have supplied prizes for kids and adults,” said Fredine.
For those bringing in their vehicles for display, the gates open at 9 a.m. and registration is $10. Call Jef at 612-963-3470 or Dave Gunderson at 320-424-3593 with any questions.
