Students from Minnewaska Area Elementary School, Glacial Hills Elementary School and Discovery Days Preschool observed Fire Prevention Week. Area firefighters gave presentations on fire safety including what children should do if there is a fire in their home. Classes visited the fire station to see the trucks and MAES second and third graders experienced a smoke room put on by the Glenwood Fire Department.
