Need a coat or cold weather gear? During the dates of Oct. 23-26, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., the United Way of Douglas and Pope Counties, located at the United Way Office, 503 Hawthorne Street, Alexandria, will have items available: winter coats, hats, warm gloves, mittens, snowpants and boots for adults and children. 

Items are available free of charge and there is no income guidelines or qualifications.
