A group of Minnewaska Area High School students, several community members, the HELP council and the Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber and Welcome Center were able to join Someplace Safe’s Walk Against Domestic Violence. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Community law enforcement agencies ensured the safety of the walkers as they marched from Western Prairie Human Services to the Chamber and Welcome Center offices. The 24th Annual Take A Stand Against Domestic Violence Walk will be held October 22, 2024.
