The Starbuck Fire Department Auxiliary and the Starbuck VFW Auxiliary partnered again this year for Christmas Care, held on Saturday, Dec. 16. A special thank you to Santa and Mrs. Claus for their appearance and to Tom’s Market and Peddler Dan’s for the donations of products for the event. Christmas Care serves households in Western Pope County (Starbuck, Lowry, Cyrus) in need at Christmas time. The program depends on members of the community to submit the names of families. Financial donations for next year’s program can be mailed to the Starbuck Fire Department Auxiliary, Box 621, Starbuck, MN 56381 c/o Christmas Care.
