The Pope County Salvation Army extended a “thank you”to Jill Volkmann (top left) for her kettle match of the funds raised last Monday while Donna Ortendahl was at the kettle from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. She also thanked other major donors including: Marthaler Chevrolet (top right) for the $1,000 donation; FAST Global Solutions( lower left) for the $500 donation and, Tom’s Market (lower right) for the $500 donation.  Dorothy Anderson also donated $300 and Ortendahl thanked  the many others who gave from their hearts to help those in a crisis this coming year.  “What a wonderful community we live in!  Thank you so much for supporting the Pope County Salvation Army and helping me celebrate a great birthday by your donations to the kettle,” Ortendahl said.
