NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TO DISCUSS A VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT A 25’ LIGHTHOUSE ON CITY OWNED PROPERTY, WITH THE NAVIGATIONAL BEACON POSITIONED OVER 15’, IN THE STARBUCK MARINA WHICH IS IN A FLOOD PLAIN AREA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council for the City of Starbuck will hold a public hearing on March 11, 2024, at 6:40pm to discuss a variance that would allow a 25’ lighthouse, with a navigational beacon over 15’, to be built on a city owned parcel on the south side of Starbuck Marina. This would include an 8’ to 10’path to be constructed for access to the lighthouse. Plans may be viewed at the Starbuck City Office. The location of the meeting will be the Starbuck Community Center at 307 East 5th Street, Starbuck, MN.
