SUMMARY PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE No. 202404

POPE COUNTY, MINNESOTA 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on April 2, 2024, Ordinance No. 202404, Repealing Outdated Provisions of the Pope County Environmental Health Administrative Ordinance, was adopted by the Pope County Board of Commissioners.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, pursuant to Minn. Stat. §§ 331A.01 and 375.51, a summary of Ordinance No. 202404 is provided as follows: 

Ordinance No. 202404 specifically repeals Ordinance No. 201001, adopted May 18, 2010, which addressed licensure and fees regulating certain activities under the authority of public health offices under Minnesota laws and rules, where separate procedures are not established by delegation agreements with the State of Minnesota.  Specific public health licenses and fees are now addressed elsewhere in Ordinance Nos. 201501, 201502, 201503, 201504, and 201505, and public health officials advised no further need for the remaining provisions of Ordinance No. 201001.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that copies of the ordinance are available for public inspection on the County’s public website at www.popecountymn.gov, in the office of the Pope County Administrator during normal business hours, or upon request by calling 320-634-7704.
