Three D-B players on All-Area boys basketball team

The All-Area boys basketball teams for 2023-24 include three players from Dawson-Boyd, two each from BBE and KMS and one each from NLS, MACCRAY, Prinsburg, BOLD, Montevideo, Paynesville, ACGC and RCW.
In all, 11 teams were represented on one of three All-Area teams. Two players (Dawson-Boyd’s Brayson Boike and KMS’ DeAndre Holloway) are repeat members of the All-Area first team.
There were seven seniors, seven juniors and one sophomore named to the All-Area teams this year.
Earning first-team recognition were DB junior guard Brayson Boike (Camden North Player of the year, 26.6 points per game), BBE senior forward Luke Dingmann (18 ppg and 11.9 rebounds per game), KMS senior forward DeAndre Holloway (27.9 ppg and 12.4 rpg), NLS senior guard/forward Grant Paffrath (25 ppg) and MACCRAY senior guard Isaac Post (17.9 ppg).
On the second team were Prinsburg junior Drew Duininck, BOLD junior Jack Gross, DB junior Drew Hjelmeland, Montevideo junior Gannon Reidinger and Paynesville senior Bryce VanderBeek.
On the third team are KMS senior Jared Cortez, DB sophomore Gunner Liebl, ACGC senior Kyler Pickle, RCW junior Ryan Schrupp and BBE junior Hayden Sobiech.
