Starbuck held its annual Heritage Days celebration this past weekend, hosting a number of fun and entertaining activities including a kids fun run, bike rodeo, Little Miss Minnewaska coronation, golf tournament, street dance, fly-in breakfast, color run, kiddie carnival with inflatables, games and prizes, a classic car show, the Grande Day Parade, fireworks, the crowning of the new Miss Minnewaska royalty, a community church service and much more.

This was the 41st edition of Heritage Days, a fun-filled weekend of events planned for the family and friends to celebrate and commemorate Starbuck’s long and historic heritage.  Above, youth and adults watch as the Grande Day parade goes by.  At right, a couple of planes fly into the Starbuck Airport for the fly-in breakfast and the Grand Marshal of the parade, Mary Baukol, rides in the parade.  Below, participants of the color run come by one of the “color” spots, while Hemker Zoo staff brought along some fun animals, including Whiskers, the bunny; a young girl tries out the climbing wall; golfers take part in the Heritage Days Golf Tourney and cars are lined up along the street for the Heritage Days Car Show.
