The Barsness Park Splash Pad was the place to be early last week when temperatures were in the high 80s and low 90s with higher humidity.  Youngsters took full advantage of the cool water toys at the splash pad and it provided a cool reprieve from a warm, sunny day.  The beaches, both in Starbuck and Glenwood were also crowded early last week as residents took advantage of the lake for summer fun.
