Independence Day celebration at Evergreen Park attracts large crowd

First ‘Music at The Barn’ a success;  plans already underway for next year

This year’s first annual “Music at The Barn” on July 3 was a successful event attracting more than 1,000 people to Phil and Catherine Stumpf’s Evergreen Park in Glenwood for live music, food, beverages and fireworks.

“We are already making plans for July 3, 2025,” said Phil Stumpf after the event. Blonde & the Bohunk are already booked for next year’s event.

“We learned a few things on how we can improve the experience. Parking areas, including handicap accessible, are high on our list.”

The event also raised funds for Jan Arneson’s Pope County Families in Need program and Stumpf said many donated generously.
