Plans are now underway whereby Starbuck will have a local kittenball league, made up entirely of local men. Eilert Holte will be in charge of this project. As soon as the required number of players have been signed up, the actual playing will be started. Anyone interest in playing should notify Mr. Holte at once.

While Mr. and Mrs. Eilert Holte, Sylvan Ophein, Arnold Dullum, and Eugene Ophaug were returning from Willmar Sunday after the ball game, they had an unpleasant experience of driving thru a cyclonic twister between Starbuck and Benson on the county line road. They were traveling along at a good rate of speed, when all of a sudden it became almost dark and they were forced to stop. Just before they stopped Mrs. Holte saw the wind take a hayrack high in the air, almost directly above their car and a bit later a small shed was seen in the air. Driving with the top down on the sport coupe, they appeared like darkies when they arrived home.
